Abdullah out, Cook probable for Vikings in Week 7

EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. -- Minnesota Vikings safety Husain Abdullah will not play against the Green Bay Packers on Sunday night because of a concussion.

Abdullah was injured early in last Sunday's game against the Dallas Cowboys. Coach Brad Childress said he has made progress this week, but Jamarca Sanford and Tyrell Johnson will fill in for him at Green Bay.

Cornerback Chris Cook is listed as probable. The rookie has played in only one game this season because of knee problems.

Center John Sullivan also is probable with a calf injury. Childress says Friday that Sullivan likely will start the game with backup Jon Cooper spelling him on occasion as he works his way back into shape.

Cornerback Lito Sheppard is listed as questionable with a hand injury.
