Robert Gonzales
Rob is a lifelong fan of the Detroit Lions and has held season tickets since 1990. On a quest to visit all NFL stadiums with only 8 stadiums remaining, he attends several road games a year and never misses an offseason event or Training Camp practice. On gamedays, he can be found tailgating with other Lions superfans and walking around Ford Field handing out beads and cards to children. Rob promotes the fellowship of all fans and encourages good sportsmanship. In 2016, Rob was inducted to the Professional Football Ultimate Fan Association, an organization made up of superfans from around the NFL who give back to their communities. In 2021, he was also recognized as a member of the Tailgating Hall of Fame. He supports the Detroit Lions Foundation, the Rainbow Connection of Michigan and the Childrens Leukemia Foundation.Â
Rob is proud to represent the Detroit Lions as their 2023 Fan Of The Year and honored to share his passion for the team with the community.
