Henry Ison

Henry Ison attended his first Falcons game in 1968 at the old Fulton County Stadium and became a season ticket holder in 1971. During the season, he only travels when the team is traveling and has been attending the Falcons vs. Saints game in New Orleans for more than 30 years. The Falcons have had a major influence on his personal decisions. He owned a Ford while Ford was a team partner & switched to a S550 Mercedes-Benz when the new stadium opened. Jokingly called "The Coach" by his family, Ison is in uniform when he watches Falcons games at home. He also has a red Christmas tree dedicated to the Falcons in which he collects ornaments every year for this very special tree. At his highest peak, Mr. Ison had 24 seats in the Georgia Dome in one single season, hosting all of his family & friends. Ison passed on the traditions of Sunday Football and particularly Falcons Football to his daughters who were raised attending games since birth.

Ison is a Vietnam Veteran, a Ford retiree and a community advocate for change. He owns a premier sustainable metals recycling brokerage. During the height of the pandemic, he donated shipping containers to be modified into hospitals to treat COVID patients.

Being of service to his country, family, and community with great loyalty is how he continues to #RiseUp!
