Titans RB LenDale White ran in from 1 yard late in the fourth quarter. Rob Bironas' extra point gave Tennessee a 17-7 lead with 3:50 remaining. A late Jaguars field goal by Josh Scobee made it 17-10, but Tennessee closed the door on Jacksonville's next posession, ending the game with 9-yard sack on David Garrard.

Titans backup QB Kerry Collins entered the game after Vince Young limped off the field with 4:14 remaining in the game. Young sustained an injury to his left leg.
