Game balls
Coming back from a knee injury, Washington quarterback Jason Campbell was perfect in his one series of action. He completed all five of his passes for 54 yards and a touchdown. Jaguars wide receiver Reggie Williams, who had lost his starting job during training camp, shined in the first half. He caught three passes for 61 yards and a touchdown.

Key stat
The Jaguars secondary struggled mightily in the first half, conceding 101 yards passing, two touchdowns and a 91 percent completion rate to Campbell and Mark Brunell.

Noteworthy
Redskins rookie quarterback Jordan Palmer, the younger brother of the Bengals' Carson, saw his first action of the preseason and had a tough time. He was just 2-of-8 for 10 yards and an interception.
