That Helps No One Week 4: London calling

On any given NFL weekend, many players score touchdowns. Most of them are frequently started on fantasy football rosters. But others come out of nowhere to vulture touchdowns or beat a third-string cornerback repeatedly for a career-day. In fantasy, these are our "That Helps No One" champions. The players whose success leads to the imminent demise of countless fantasy teams. All season long, we'll be tracking and crowning a "That Helps No One" winner each week on NFL Fantasy LIVE. Below are the top candidates for Week 4.

There aren't exactly a ton of fantasy options on the Raiders roster, but Carr could have at least done fantasy owners a favor and looked the way of James Jones or even Darren McFadden. Instead, he decided to toss a touchdown to his third-string tight end. Thanks, Derek.

Sticking with Oakland, McGloin later continued the fantasy frustration by throwing a touchdown to Andre Holmes. Now, Holmes was someone I was keeping my eye on, but I wanted to see more before pumping him up. I guess now might be the time to consider him in deeper leagues, but as for his touchdown in Week 4 -- That Helps No One.

How irrelevant was Manuel's late touchdown to Williams? Combined they aren't even owned in seven percent of NFL.com fantasy leagues. To make matters worse, Williams' touchdown came on the first play of the drive, taking away any chances for actual fantasy commodities like Fred Jackson, C.J. Spiller or Sammy Watkins to get more yards or fantasy points. Thanks Mike Williams ... for nothing.

On a day in which Calvin Johnson only had 12 receiving yards, Stafford instead decided to find Jeremy Ross for a 59-yard touchdown. Ugh. WHY!?!

Martellus Bennett just misses the end zone, Chicago Bears

This one hurt for fantasy owners and Bears fans. With time-running out during the first half of a shootout with the Green Bay Packers, Jay Cutler found Bennett near the goal line for what appeared to (possibly) be a touchdown. Unfortunately, Micah Hyde was blocking the camera's view of the goal line, and the officials couldn't confirm if Bennett scored or not. Instead, time expired and the Bears went into halftime empty handed ... along with all of Bennett and Cutler's fantasy owners.

Hey, Tannehill. When you throw touchdowns to your tight end, make sure it's Charles Clay, who is at least owned in 65.2 percent of NFL.com leagues and not Dion Sims, who isn't owned in a single league. Sound good? Great, thanks.

Jacobs was signed off the street earlier in the week, and then vultured a red zone touchdown from the likes of Allen Hurns, Cecil Shorts III or Allen Robinson. There really isn't a clearer way into the "That Helps No One" competition than how Jacobs did it, folks.

So who will take home the Week 4 "That Helps No One" crown? Tune in to NFL Fantasy LIVE (weekdays at 5p ET on NFL Network) today to find out! Oh, and it might just help you win your fantasy matchup this week, too. So don't miss it.
