Week 14 fantasy football #KABOOM winners

Each week, we at NFL fantasy like to bestow #KABOOM awards on the top players at each position that deliver monster performances for their fantasy owners. Week 14 had no shortage of star performers and surprises, but there were a few players in particular who deserve the nod for dominating their position: Cam Newton, Le'Veon Bell, A.J. Green and Jared Cook.

Cam Newton, QB, Carolina Panthers -- 35.34 fantasy points

Sunday might have been the healthiest Newton has looked all season, so it was no surprise to see him put on a classic-Cam performance. Newton threw three touchdown passes with no interceptions and added 83 yards and another touchdown on the ground. He led the Panthers to a blowout win over the Saints -- in the Superdome, too.

Le'Veon Bell, RB, Pittsburgh Steelers -- 41.50 fantasy points

Bell had a chance to make history on Sunday. If he could rack up 200 total yards against the Bengals, he'd join Walter Payton as the only players in the modern era to have 200-plus scrimmage yards in three straight games. Well, the Michigan State product delivered a performance worthy of the history books as he accumulated 235 total yards of offense and scored three touchdowns, good for 41.50 fantasy points.

A.J. Green, WR, Cincinnati Bengals -- 28.40 fantasy points

Prior to Sunday's game, Green had gone for better than 120 receiving yards in two of his last three games. Against the Steelers, he decided to kick it up a notch by racking up 224 receiving yards and a touchdown. He routinely roasted Ike Taylor and the other defensive backs assigned to cover him. Unfortunately his efforts were not enough to net the Bengals a much needed win.

Jared Cook, TE, St. Louis Rams -- 18.10 fantasy points

Oh, look who it is. One of the most maligned fantasy players in all of the NFL. For years pundits trumpeted Cook as a breakout candidate and sleeper, only to watch him severely underperform given his natural talent and gifts. Sunday was one of Cook's patented flashes in the pan, as he caught two touchdown passes and had 61 receiving yards on the afternoon. Just don't count on that production to continue in the coming weeks.
