Zac Stacy gets first St. Louis Rams start vs. Jaguars

Looking for an eleventh-hour add to your fantasy backfield? Zac Stacy might be your man.

NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport reported Sunday that the St. Louis Rams were giving the rookie running back his first career start Sunday against theJacksonville Jaguars, according to sources informed of the team's thinking.

Honestly, the move says less about Stacy and more about the disappointing play of Rams runners Daryl Richardson and Isaiah Pead. Stacy only has one carry for 4 yards this season after St. Louis selected him in the fifth round of April's draft. The Rams are just looking for someone to get hot.

St. Louis remains dedicated to a committee approach that barely has dented opponents this season. The Jaguars rolled in with one of the league's weakest run defenses, making Stacy worth a fantasy add if your backfield's in bye-week hell or plagued by injuries. Or if you're just feeling frisky.
