Vikings QB Kyler Murray suffers concussion in first quarter of win over Packers

Minnesota Vikings quarterback Kyler Murray suffered a concussion in Sunday's 39-22 win over the Green Bay Packers and did not return. 

On a third-and-7 scramble in the first quarter, Murray slid but took a big hit from Packers defenders Lukas Van Ness and Javon Bullard.

"I have no update on how those evaluations have gone," head coach Kevin O'Connell said after the game. "We'll take it day by day and see how he comes in tomorrow."

O'Connell added that Murray seemed to be doing well after the game, but "I wouldn't medically quote me on that."

Murray's helmet came off on the play, and the veteran QB remained on the turf at U.S. Bank Stadium before eventually walking off under his own power and exiting to the locker room.

Bullard was flagged for unnecessary roughness on the play to prolong the Vikings' drive.

Murray was just 11 plays into his debut with the Vikings before exiting and went 3 of 5 for 18 yards with an interception.

Carson Wentz took over under center for Minnesota, going 12 of 19 for 133 yards with three touchdowns to lead the Vikings to a comeback win.
