Projected 2015 starters: New Orleans Saints

Around The NFL predicts the Week 1 starting lineups for all 32 teams, analyzing the potential impact of each rookie class. See every breakdown here.

» New Orleans hasn't had this many question marks among Drew Brees' receiver options since 2006. Marques Colston is slowing down and second-year player Brandin Cooks is a candidate to take a big step up this year. After that, playing time is wide open.

» The Saints clearly expect Josh Hill to replace some of Jimmy Graham's production. At receiver, unknowns like Nick Toon, Brandon Coleman, and Seantavius Jones have a chance to have a big role. It was a surprise the Saints didn't take a receiver in the draft. This is a team that has found diamonds in the rough before like Colston and Lance Moore.

» You don't take a player No. 13 overall to sit. Yet we can't imagine Zach Strief moving to guard at his size, and left tackle Terron Armstead isn't going anywhere. There isn't a logical spot for Peat in the starting lineup, but offensive line coach Bret Ingalls mentioned he could experiment with Peat playing inside. It's a surprising fit, so Tim Lelito could be the better bet to start Week 1.

» The Saints could potentially have four rookie starters if Peat finds a spot. Linebackers Stephone Anthony and Hau'oli Kikaha have clear paths to start. Cornerback P.J. Williams could wind up at nickel back.

» The biggest acqusitions the Saints could make this offseason would be the return of the 2013 versions of Jairus Byrd and Kenny Vaccaro.

» Since we don't see any of those third receivers as true "starters," we listed C.J. Spiller as a second starter at running back. He's going to get a ton of snaps lining up wide, and it wouldn't be surprising to see him on the field with Mark Ingram at the same time.
