Peyton Manning exits practice for thigh treatment

Peyton Manning wasn't long for Thursday's Broncos practice.

Denver's star quarterback left the field early to receive treatment on his right thigh after stretching and going through the team's walk-through, per USA TODAY's Lindsay Jones.

ESPN.com's Jeff Legwold reported that Manning is expected to practice Friday. With the Broncos not playing until Monday night against the Bengals, today's session essentially mirrored a Wednesday practice for Denver.

Manning first suffered the thigh injury during the first half of the Broncos' 22-10 win over the Chargers on Sunday. He missed only a few plays before returning to the lineup after halftime.

We'll keep an eye on Manning, but we'd be stunned if he wasn't ready and willing for Denver's high-stakes encounter with Cincinnati.
