PHOENIX -- Following the Seattle Seahawks' improbable comeback victory in the NFC Championship Game, wide receiver Doug Baldwin provided the world with an entertaining -- if not superfluous -- rant to any doubters left for the defending Super Bowl champions.
"I told you guys that from when we play those guys throughout the year, they have some very, very underrated receivers and they can get the job done," he said.
Baldwin led the Seahawks with 66 receptions for 825 yards and three touchdowns. Jermaine Kearse -- who caught the game-winning touchdown Sunday, but was also targeted on four interceptions in the game -- had just 38 receptions for 537 yards. Running back Marshawn Lynch was actually third on the team in receptions (37) and receiving yards (367).
"They are a pretty challenging group," Peterson said. "They are definitely underrated."
"I didn't watch the game, I didn't see (Baldwin's) outrage -- it seems like that team always have some outrage going on," he said.
