Jordan Reed ejected for throwing punch vs. Panthers

The Washington Redskins' offense took a big hit during its 26-15 loss to the Carolina Panthers on Monday night.

Tight end Jordan Reed was ejected late in the third quarter after he threw a punch at Panthers safety Kurt Coleman.

The Redskins were down 23-9 at the time he was ejected for the unnecessary roughness penalty.

Reed was struggling before his ejection. He had just one catch for six yards on the night. He appeared to be dealing with a shoulder injury that kept him on the sideline briefly before he was tossed from the game.
