Jalen Ramsey running again two weeks after surgery

Jalen Ramsey's rehabilitation took a positive stride forward Friday.

The Jacksonville Jaguars tweeted out a video of the No. 5 overall pick running on the field.

Ramsey underwent surgery to repair the meniscus in his right knee just two and a half weeks ago. While running straight ahead isn't the same as cutting and covering dynamic receives, it's a good indication the rookie's recovery is going well.

Jags general manager Dave Caldwell said last week he expects Ramsey to be ready for training camp in late July. Running is the first step.
