Injury roundup: Rams' Todd Gurley active vs. Jets

Rams second-year running back Todd Gurley is active and will play Sunday.

Gurley missed two practices this week with a thigh injury but was full-go in Friday's practice session.

The second-year running back out of Georgia has had a disappointing season, having rushed 146 times for 451 yards (3.1 average) and just three touchdowns after averaging 4.8 yards per carry with 10 touchdowns last season.

The struggling Rams (3-5) have lost four straight games and will be taking on the equally struggling Jets (3-6) in East Rutherford, New Jersey.

Other injuries we are watching on Sunday:

  1. The Seahawks don't believe that running back Christine Michael's hamstring injury is serious, per Rapoport.
  1. Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo (back) is expected to be inactive while wide receiver Dez Bryant (knee) is playing, per Rapoport.
  1. Dolphins wide receivers Jarvis Landry (shoulder) and Kenny Stills (calf) are both expected to play against the Chargers, per Rapoport.
  1. Patriots tight end Martellus Bennett (ankle) and wide receiver Julian Edelman (foot) are both expected to play while wideout Chris Hogan will be a game-time decision, per Rapoport.
  1. Eagles tight end Brent Celek (rib) is active.
  1. Chargers tight end Hunter Henry (knee) likely will play while teammate Travis Benjamin (knee) is doubtful, per Rapoport.
  1. Patriots running back Dion Lewis (knee) was moved from PUP to the active roster Saturday, but is inactive for Sunday night's game against the Seahawks.
