Brian Cushing (knee) won't play Sunday for Texans

In the above video, you'll see Steelers running back Le'Veon Bell shake free from Brian Cushing, then proceed to leave the lumbering Texans linebacker in the dust for a big gain on Monday Night Football.

It was apparent then that Cushing is not moving well and perhaps is not right physically. NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport reported late Wednesday night that Cushing won't play this Sunday (knee) against the Titans, per a source close to the player.

Cushing hasn't been at 100 percent for two weeks and has had the knee drained multiple times, per a league source. It's the same knee in which Cushing suffered a broken fibula and torn LCL last year and torn ACL two seasons ago.

The Texans hope rest will provide a solution to the problem. Houston faces the Tennessee Titans and Philadelphia Eagles in the next two weeks before reaching their bye. There's a very real chance we don't see Cushing back on the field before Week 11.
