The Buffalo Bills had enviable depth at the running back position just a few weeks ago. Now? They might be scraping the bottom of the barrel in free agency.
According to Bills general manager Doug Whaley, star rookie running back Karlos Williams is undergoing concussion protocol after sustaining a head injury against the Giants on Sunday.
Whaley would not rule out the possibility of re-signing Bryce Brown, who spent the past two seasons in Buffalo and is currently a free agent.
The good news for Ryan is that he is in the best position personnel- and coaching-wise he's ever been in. Roman has the ability to shift between an air-raid passing game and a ground-and-pound attack and to do so without much trepidation.
While all might seem lost in Buffalo at the moment, the Bills at 2-2 are not in panic mode just yet. An inability to adapt will change that.
