Young questionable, will be game-time decision for Titans

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Kerry Collins handled the majority of the starter's reps in Friday's practice for the Tennessee Titans and stayed after practice to throw to new receiver Randy Moss.

Regular starting quarterback Vince Young was limited with an ankle injury and will be a game-time decision Sunday against Miami.

"We'll warm him up and see how he is," coach Jeff Fisher said.

Meanwhile, starting defensive tackle Tony Brown practiced fully for a second straight day after changing his rehab habits and is probable. Running back Chris Johnson (thigh) is probable and has worked fully all week. Cornerback Ryan Mouton (hamstring) is questionable but worked fully all week. Receiver Kenny Britt continues to be out with a hamstring injury.

Fisher said the Titans reduced Young's work Friday after he took about half the starter's snaps on Thursday.

"He did take some starter reps today," Fisher said.

Collins said he is prepared to go if called upon. He already has made one start against Philadelphia and two relief appearances for Young this year.

"Anytime you get to go out there and actually run the play, it definitely helps," Collins said. "Whatever my role is gonna be this weekend, I'll be ready for it."

As for working extra with Moss, Collins said he just wanted to help the receiver get up to speed.

"He came in here and he had so little time. We just needed some extra time to work on a couple of things that we didn't really get to touch on as much as we would like during the week," Collins said.
