Woodson, Packers laughed off Cutler's 'good luck' wish

Charles Woodson isn't done having his fun with Jay Cutler.

On Thursday night, the Packers safety made headlines by explaining Cutler's performance in Green Bay's 23-10 win over the Chicago Bears as "same old Jay."

Lombardi: Room for improvement

The Bears made the Packers look good on Thursday, but both teams have plenty to work on, Michael Lombardi writes. **More ...**

Woodson went after Cutler again Friday on "The Jim Rome Show." Woodson didn't hold back when asked about Cutler's now-infamous "good luck" message to the Packers' secondary earlier in the week.

"We got a laugh out of it, really," Woodson said, via ProFootballTalk.com. "It was funny. They do have some big receivers over there, but they're not fast receivers. There's no Calvin Johnson on that team that's going to stretch a defense. Yeah, there are some big guys, physical guys, and they like to push and pull and grab and get behind guys, but we weren't going to let that happen, so it worked in our favor."

(That sound you hear is steam whistling out of Brandon Marshall's ears.)

Woodson added that Cutler's wish of luck provided more levity than motivation in the Packers' meeting room.

"We took those comments and we got a kick out of it," he said.

We don't imagine Cutler will feel the same way about Woodson's comments.
