The weather is starting to warm up in New York. The worst-case scenarios for Super Bowl Sunday are becoming a distant memory. After way too much conversation on the subject, weather shouldn't be a huge factor in Super Bowl XLVIII.
The forecast for Sunday has warmed up with each passing day. The National Weather Service now calls for a dry and cloudy Sunday with a high temperature around 45 degrees. The low temperature overnight could dip below freezing, but it sounds like it should stay above freezing while the game is in progress.
Pete Carroll had the Seahawks practice in 36-degree temperatures Wednesday, which sounds about right. Peyton Manningmight throw a duck or two Sunday, but it can't be blamed on sub-freezing temperatures.
