Washington Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III voted Week 13 Pepsi MAX NFL Rookie of the Week

Voters on NFL.com have made their choice. Quarterback Robert Griffin III of the Washington Redskins is the Pepsi MAX NFL Rookie of the Week for games played on Nov. 29 through Dec. 3, the NFL announced today.

Griffin III completed 13 of 21 passes for 163 yards and a touchdown, and added another 73 yards rushing to lead the Redskins to a 17-16 win over the New York Giants.

Griffin III was selected from among five finalists through fan votes on NFL.com/rookies. The other finalists were running Back Bryce Brown of the Philadelphia Eagles, wide receiver Josh Gordon of the Cleveland Browns, quarterback Andrew Luck of the Indianapolis Colts and quarterback Russell Wilson of the Seattle Seahawks.

After the regular season, five players will be nominated for Pepsi MAX NFL Rookie of the Year honors. Fans can vote for the winner on NFL.com/rookies throughout the month of January. The Pepsi MAX NFL Rookie of the Year will be announced at the second annual "NFL Honors" awards show in New Orleans on Saturday, Feb. 2, the night before Super Bowl XLVII.

This is Pepsi's eleventh year as the official soft drink sponsor of the NFL and the eleventh year that Pepsi will present the NFL Rookie of the Week and NFL Rookie of the Year awards.

PEPSI ROOKIE OF THE WEEK NOMINEES

Bryce Brown, Philadelphia Eagles

Brown gained 169 yards on 24 carries and scored two touchdowns in the Eagles' 38-33 loss to the Dallas Cowboys.

Josh Gordon, Cleveland Browns

Gordon caught six passes for 116 yards and one touchdown as the Browns beat the Oakland Raiders 20-17.

Robert Griffin III, Washington Redskins

RG3 completed 13 of 21 passes for 163 yards and a touchdown, and added another 73 yards rushing, to lead the Redskins to a 17-16 win over the New York Giants.

Andrew Luck, Indianapolis Colts

Luck completed 24 of 54 passes for 391 yards and four touchdowns in the Colts' 35-33 victory over the Detroit Lions.

Russell Wilson, Seattle Seahawks

Wilson completed 23 of 37 passes for 293 yards and two touchdowns as well as adding 71 yards on the ground in the Seahawks' 23-17 overtime victory against the Chicago Bears.
