Video: Prep sophomore shows off eye-popping moves

Miami head coach Al Golden might never sign Emmanuel Greene to a Hurricanes scholarship offer, but nobody can say he was never aware of Greene's skills.

The Coconut Creek High School sophomore -- that is, a sophomore starting this fall -- probably isn't even shaving yet. But he knows plenty about making cuts. Greene made the competition at one of Golden's summer camps look like Pop Warner Pee Wees on a play that has made for a popular video:

Before anyone sizes Greene's finger for a championship ring, however, know this: According to rivals.com, the Class of 2017 prospect is only 5-foot-8 and 147 pounds. Given his youth, there is little doubt he'll be significantly bigger than that by the time he is a graduating senior. But that could mean 5-9, 165 -- still awfully small for a major college program.

Apparently, however, it matters little. Because Greene's Rivals bio page also indicates early scholarship offers have already come in from the likes of Clemson, Tennessee, West Virginia and Louisville. An offer from nearby Miami (Coconut Creek is less than an hour from Coral Gables) could now be just around the corner.

As for the prospects Greene posterized (one of them twice on the same play), they remain anonymous for the moment.

And no doubt, they'd prefer to stay that way.
