Vernon Davis is good to go.
With the San Francisco 49ers set to take on the St. Louis Rams on *Monday Night Football*, Davis is officially active. The tight end missed the Niners' Week 5 game with a back injury and had been practicing throughout the past week in a non-contact jersey. He also sat out Week 3 with an ankle injury.
Late last week, Davis still didn't know if he was going to be ready for Monday night.
"I don't feel like I'm where I need to be at the moment, but I'm getting there," he said, per The Sacramento Bee. "I'm definitely making progress. ... Each and every day I'm getting better. That's what it's all about."
