Travis Kelce speaks -- reluctantly -- about dating series

Aaron Rodgers' brother isn't the only guy with NFL ties hoping to find love through reality television.

While Jordan Rodgers attempts to woo the saucy JoJo on The Bachelorette, Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce will be busy choosing from 50 female suitors -- one from each state -- on Catching Kelce, an upcoming series from E!, the people who brought us Keeping up with the Kardashians.

On Tuesday at Chiefs organized team activities, Kelce was a bit sheepish talking about his side gig as the star of a "dating competition series".

"I think it will be a pretty funny show, but I'm more excited for the football season," Kelce said, according to The Kansas City Star. "I'm not even a big TV guy, so for the most part, I was going into it blind and just enjoying the experience."

Kelce repeatedly stressed that his focus remains on football. He wouldn't even cop to knowing when the series would premiere. He said the decision to take the project was "for the most part" his.

"Yeah, people are going to look at me differently," Kelce said. "You never get to see the intimate side of a football player."

Well, unless you watch *Hard Knocks* ... but that's beside the point. If anything, Kelce's reluctance to talk about Catching Kelce makes me more intrigued to see the final product. Kelce kind of sounded like a guy who had some regrets about the experience. In other words, time to set the DVR baby!
