Texans' Wade Phillips wants to play Packers again

Wade Phillips is no punk. We know that at least.

The Houston Texans defensive coordinator wants another shot at the Packers after Green Bay handed the Texans their only loss of the 2012 season. Not only were the Texans beaten, but the Packers hung 42 points on the No. 6 scoring defense. Opponents averaged 14.3 points against Houston in six other games.

"I'd like to play Green Bay again, see what happens," Phillips said, according to Houston Chronicle reporter Tania Ganguli.

The Packers offense had been struggling and hadn't surpassed the 28-point plateau in their first five games. The team hit a low point in a 30-27 loss to the Indianapolis Colts the previous week. The Houston win was the start of a three-game win streak for Green Bay and the first time the team looked like itself in 2012. The Texans were still regrouping after the loss of Brian Cushing for the season.

Texans vs. Packers was a common preseason Super Bowl pick. That's the only way Phillips will get his wish.
