SVU's Mariska Hargitay helps NFL with new domestic violence PSAs

Tuesday's health and safety news from the world of football:

  • USA Today reported that NFL players are teaming up with Hollywood celebrities to film anti-domestic violence announcements that will air beginning Oct. 23.
  • USA Today also reported that the NFL Players Association has assembled its own group of experts for domestic violence advice.
  • Time Magazine wrote about on an espnW: Women+Sports Summit poll that found 87 percent of parents were concerned about the risk of injury in sports.
