Sports Illustrated confuses Melvin Gordon with Badgers backup

Wisconsin's Melvin Gordon is one of the nation's most well-known players. He's on a pace to set the FBS single-season rushing record and is one of the leading contenders for the Heisman.

Well, he's well-known to everyone except Sports Illustrated, which evidently doesn't know who he is.

Dare Ogunbowale (unlike "Melvin Gordon," it's a tough name to pronounce: DAR-ay oh-goon-bo-WALL-ay) is a sophomore who is the Badgers' third-team tailback. He has rushed for 193 yards and a TD this season, which would be roughly a game's worth of work for Gordon, who has 2,260 yards and 26 touchdowns.

Gordon and the Badgers play Ohio State on Saturday in Indianapolis in the Big Ten championship game. Gordon wears No. 25, by the way, and Ogunbowale wears No. 23.
