The Seattle Times reported Monday that there's a strong buzz the Seahawks will aggressively pursue defensive end Mario Williams. The Seahawks also could be a player in the market for quarterback Matt Flynn, according to The Times. The team reportedly has an estimated $29.8 million in salary cap space, according to ProFootballTalk.com, a figure that gives the Seahawks the financial flexibility to go after a number of high-profile players.

Williams is considered the most sought after defensive player once free agency begins. Williams, 27, has 53 sacks in six seasons with the Houston Texans, and would be a big boost for a Seahawks squad that struggled to rush the passer in 2011, totaling 33 sacks.

Flynn has been linked to the Miami Dolphins, but the team currently has their sights set on Manning after meeting with him Monday.
