Russell Wilson's priorities: game film, then the media

Just minutes after his season ended, Seattle Seahawks rookie quarterback Russell Wilson showed why his teammates and coaches love him.

On NFL Network
"NFL Replay" will re-air the Falcons' 30-28 divisional playoff win over the Seahawks on Tuesday, Jan. 15 at 9:30 p.m. ET.

"When the game was over, I was very disappointed, but right before I got back to the tunnel, walking off the field, I got so excited for the next opportunity, next year. Looking forward what we have in the future," Wilson said Sunday after the Seahawks' 30-28 divisional-round loss to the Atlanta Falcons. "We have a great football team."

On Monday, Wilson put those words into action. Wilson was not available to speak to the media during the Seahawks' locker-room session because he was watching film, according to John Boyle of the Everett Herald.

That's leadership. There are times when Wilson's image seems too good to be true, not unlike Tim Tebow before him. Then you watch Wilson play, listen to him speak and hear stories like this. And you become a believer.
