Another Seattle Seahawks star could be headed for hip surgery.
ESPN's John Clayton reported Tuesday that Pro Bowl safety Kam Chancellor will undergo surgery to "clean up" a hip problem that developed last season, according to a source. The surgery is considered minor and not as involved as the hip procedure that cost Percy Harvin most of last season.

The date of the surgery hasn't been scheduled, and no recovery timetable has been set.
Chancellor, 25, has dealt with hip discomfort dating back to 2012, but has missed just one game in the past three seasons. The four-year veteran finished last season with 99 tackles, three interceptions and a forced fumble. He made his second Pro Bowl and was named second-team All-Pro.
Chancellor's recovery from surgery will be closely watched following an offseason of turnover that will test the depth of Seattle's vaunted secondary. Walter Thurmond, Brandon Browner and Chris Maragos all left the Legion of Boom in free agency.
