Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson has been ruled out for Week 5 due to a hamstring injury suffered in Baltimore' Week 4 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs.
In Jackson's stead, Cooper Rush is slated to get his first start for the Ravens in their Sunday showdown with the Houston Texans. Baltimore also employs veteran backup Tyler Huntley on the practice squad.
Jackson left the Week 4 loss to Kansas City in the third quarter. He finished 14-of-20 passing for 147 yards, a touchdown and an interception with 48 rushing yards in the 37-20 defeat. He didn't practice this week.
Through four weeks, Jackson leads the NFL with 10 passing touchdowns and a 130.5 passer rating but is also second in sacks taken (15).
Baltimore (1-3) kicks off against Houston (1-3) in a battle of underperforming division champions at M&T Bank Stadium on Sunday at 1 p.m. ET.
