London fans might not get to see NFL catch-leader Puka Nacua in Week 7.
The Los Angeles Rams wide receiver suffered an ankle sprain in Sunday’s win over the Baltimore Ravens, putting him in doubt for next week’s game against the Jacksonville Jaguars in the U.K., NFL Network Insiders Ian Rapoport and Mike Garafolo reported, per sources informed of the situation.
Rams coach Sean McVay told reporters on Monday that Nacua is day to day and his status for next Sunday's game is uncertain. Running back Blake Corum (ankle) is also considered day to day.
With a bye in Week 8, the Rams could elect to let Nacua rest for at least a fortnight.
Nacua generated two catches for 28 yards against the Ravens, his first game with fewer than eight catches or 85 yards in 2025. The star wideout had led the NFL with 52 receptions and 588 receiving yards through Week 5. He dropped to No. 2 in yards behind Seattle’s Jaxon Smith-Njigba (696).
Nacua exited the game early in the second quarter after landing awkwardly on a deep end-zone shot from Matthew Stafford. He returned in the third quarter, but played sparingly, taking six second-half snaps with zero targets.
If Nacua indeed doesn’t play in London, Jordan Whittington and seventh-round rookie Konata Mumpfield figure to have increased roles opposite Davante Adams.
