Rams QB Bradford to miss fourth game of season with bad ankle

St. Louis Rams quarterback Sam Bradford will not play Sunday against the Cincinnati Bengals -- his fourth missed game of the season -- as the second-year pro continues to labor through the effects of a lingering high left ankle sprain.

Kellen Clemens, signed by the Rams last week, will make his first start of the season, as backup quarterback A.J. Feeley also is out, the team announced.

Bradford, who was listed as doubtful on the Rams' Friday injury report, spent the majority of the week donning a walking boot and didn't participate in any practices following a Monday night loss to the Seattle Seahawks.

Bradford missed two games in the middle of the season after suffering the same injury during the fourth quarter of a loss to the Green Bay Packers.

Rams defensive end Chris Long (ankle) was active Sunday, along with end James Hall (chest) and defensive tackle Fred Robbins (back), while cornerback Justin King (shoulder) and offensive tackle Mark LeVoir (groin) were inactive.

Bengals offensive tackle Andre Smith (ankle) was inactive.
