Quick Take: Jets at Eagles

Keep your eye on ...

Jets backup QB Kellen Clemens: Brett Favre has started an NFL-record 253 consecutive games, so Thursday's game may be QB Kellen Clemens' last time seeing the field this season. With Favre likely to see limited or no time in the Jets' final preseason game, Clemens will look to distance himself from rookie Brett Ratliff, who has thrown for 451 yards, three touchdowns and one interception in three preseason games.

Jets WR Brad Smith: The third-year receiver finally showed up in the box score Saturday, catching two passes for 47 yards. The Jets are still looking for that third receiver behind Laveranues Coles and Jerricho Cotchery. Smith's experience in the Jets' offense may give him an edge over guys like Chansi Stuckey and David Clowney.

Eagles WR Hank Baskett: With Kevin Curtis to miss the start of the season and Reggie Brown still recovering from a hamstring injury, Baskett has stepped into a primary role during the preseason. He will begin the season as a starter in place of Curtis and this will be his last tuneup in the role before the regular-season opener.

Quarterback Kevin Kolb: Donovan McNabb will not be a factor in the preseason finale, but Kolb figures to get some significant playing time. The second-year player out of Houston is the future of the franchise and he needs all the game action he can get with McNabb entrenched as the starter this year.
