Quick Take: Jaguars (3-4) at Bengals (0-8)

Last meeting
In 2005, Fred Taylor ran for a season-high 132 yards and Jacksonville's defense came up with a huge stop in the closing minutes to hand the Bengals a 23-20 loss, their first of the season.

Streaks
This series was in Cincinnati's favor for the first three years, but Jacksonville has gone on to win nine of the last 10 meeetings to take an 11-5 lead in the overall series.

Last week
Cincinnati's offense could muster just two first-half field goals on the road in a 35-6 blowout at Houston. ... The Jaguars nearly executed a last-second touchdown, but Matt Jones could not reel in David Garrard's pass in a 23-17 home loss to Cleveland.

Keep your eye on ...
Garrard's accuracy: The Jaguars quarterback is looking more like the efficient signal-caller he was when he threw just three interceptions in 12 games last season. After throwing four interceptions in Jacksonville's first three games, Garrard has attempted 151 passes without an interception over the last four weeks.

MJD preying on a soft defense:Maurice Jones-Drew has been Jacksonville's best rusher thus far, but aside for 107- and 125-yard performances against Indianapolis and Denver, respectively, Jones-Drew has gained just 98 rushing yards in the Jaguars' five other games. Cincinnati owns the league's 27th-ranked run defense.

Housh's hands: If there has been one bright spot for Cincinnati's offense, it's been T.J. Houshmandzadeh, who after a couple of subpar performances the first two weeks of the season has averaged eight receptions and 73.6 yards over Cincinnati's last six games. Despite playing without Carson Palmer for most of the year, Houshmandzadeh is still on pace for his second consecutive 100-reception season.
