Quick Take: Falcons at Ravens

Keep your eye on ...

Rookie quarterback Matt Ryan: The Falcons named the third overall pick in this year's draft their starting quarterback this week. This game will be his last chance to work out the kinks before the regular season starts next weekend.

Falcons CB Brent Grimes: The second-year player from Shippensburg has been impressive throughout training camp and the preseason and is competing for a major role in the team's secondary. A strong performance in the preseason finale could cement his spot in the rotation.

Ravens' QB race back on: Last week, coach John Harbaugh hinted that the QB competition was down to Troy Smith and Kyle Boller. Then Smith couldn't play in the third preseason game because of illness and Boller was on the sidelines nursing a shoulder injury. So rookie Joe Flacco played the entire game against the Rams (17-of-36, 138 yards), and may have played himself back into the conversation of who the starter should be in Baltimore.

Ravens WR Demetrius Williams: Williams has been out of the lineup with an Achilles tendon injury, but he passed a physical this week and Harbaugh said the team hopes he'll be on the field for at least a few snaps on Thursday.
