Streaks
The Bills have beaten the Dolphins seven of the last eight times, yet Miami still leads the overall series, 49-34-1.

Last week
The Bills scored 10 points off three Philip Rivers turnovers for a 23-14 home victory. ... The Dolphins were held to 71 yards on the ground in a 27-13 home loss to the Ravens.

Keep your eye on ...
The guy behind Lynch: While Marshawn Lynch continues to get the majority of touches in the backfield, Fred Jackson is doing all the little things to complement him. Jackson has been featured prominently as a pass-catching back, and last week provided a punishing block that allowed Lynch to walk into the end zone.

Edwards locked in: Trent Edwards proved last week that he is fully recovered from a concussion in Week 5, completing a club-record 83 percent of his passes in Bills' win over the Chargers. Edwards was 6-of-7 for 66 yards on Buffalo's two TD drives, outplaying Rivers. Edwards has a 98.8 passer rating on the season and is 8-1 when posting a rating of 80 or more.

Joey being Joey: With two sacks against the Ravens last week, Joey Porter increased his season total to 8.5. Porter has 7.5 sacks in his last four games and is on pace to break his career high (10.5), set with Pittsburgh in 2005. Porter has shown that he is at his best playing in the 3-4, a scheme he played in with the Steelers and which coach Tony Sparano has relied upon.
