Green Bay's corners shut down Chicago's recievers for most of the night, but TE Greg Olsen had a breakout game, catching his first career touchdown pass one play after Brian Urlacher intercepted Favre in the third quarter. Olsen also caught a pass down the left sideline for 27 yards late in the fourth quarter, which helped keep a Bears' drive alive and led to Desmond Clark's game-winning touchdown. Olsen finished with four receptions for 57 yards.

The Bears' highly-touted defense finally showed up Sunday night, forcing five turnovers. In the first half, CB Charles Tillman forced two fumbles and stopped the Packers from blowing the game wide open. At the end of the third quarter, the Bears recovered a Charles Woodson fumble on a punt return to set up a 36-yard Robbie Gould field goal that tied the game 20-20.
