Philadelphia Eagles reportedly will keep Nick Foles

The Kansas City Chiefsmight be interested in Nick Foles, but that doesn't mean the quarterback will be available. Sources told Comcast SportsNet Philadelphia's Reuben Frank that it would take a big-time offer for the Eagles to move Foles.

NFL.com's Ian Rapoport said on NFL Network Thursday night, in light of the Eagles signing Dennis Dixon, there will be an open, three-way quarterback competition.

"There is an open competition. Michael knows that. Nick knows that," Kelly said Monday, before the Eagles signed Dixon. "I wanted to make sure Nick was included in the plans, and I think both of them have outstanding qualities in terms of being quarterbacks in this league. Both of them have started in this league."

Most assumed Foles was a round peg with Kelly's offense being a square hole. He doesn't seem to fit, but we don't know what Kelly's offense will exactly look like. We do know the Eagles made a point of keeping Michael Vick and signing Dixon, a former Oregon quarterback.

The Eagles don't want to just dump a young quarterback with potential, but it's hard to see where he fits in a system with read-option facets.
