Patriots reportedly let safeties coach Brown go

It appears the New England Patriots are shaking up their coaching staff despite compiling a 14-2 record this past season.

The *Boston Herald* reported Thursday, citing a source, that coach Bill Belichick has told safeties coach Corwin Brown he will not return. And longtime strength and conditioning coach Mike Woicik spent Wednesday in Dallas, where the Cowboys are expected to hire him for the same job. Woicik also worked for the Cowboys from 1990-96.

Brown, who played for Belichick as a Patriots and Jets defensive back, said he relished his opportunity to work for Belichick during an interview before the season.

"You always want to try to be as good as (Belichick) was or do it like he did it," Brown said, via the Herald. "You want your players to benefit, like we benefited. We were always prepared better than every other team."
