Patriots among 10 NFL teams credentialed for Alabama-Georgia

Which college games will NFL clubs send scouts to this weekend? College Football 24/7 brings you a glimpse at the teams that are credentialed to attend some of the weekend's biggest games.

Alabama at Georgia

Three top players: Alabama (DL Jarran Reed, LB Reggie Ragland, OT Cam Robinson); Georgia (LB Leonard Floyd, RB Nick Chubb, LB Jordan Jenkins).

Matchup to watch: Alabama's Ragland is as good a run-stopping inside linebacker as there is in the college game. He'll be heavily involved in Alabama's efforts to prevent Chubb, a Heisman Trophy hopeful, from establishing between-the-tackles production for the UGA rushing attack.

Ole Miss at Florida

Three top players: Ole Miss (WR Laquon Treadwell, DL Robert Nkemdiche, TE Evan Engram); Florida (CB Vernon Hargreaves, LB Antonio Morrison, DE Jonathan Bullard)

Matchup to watch: Although Treadwell's matchup with Hargreaves is the battle NFL scouts might most want to see, Hargreaves will probably find himself matched with some of the Rebels' other receivers at times. And this season, a couple of them are proving to be equally dangerous.

Texas Tech vs. Baylor (in North Texas)

Three top players: Texas Tech (WR Jakeem Grant, QB Patrick Mahomes, DB J.J. Gaines); Baylor (DE Shawn Oakman, OL Spencer Drango, CB Xavien Howard).

Matchup to watch: Grant is Mahomes' favorite target in the Red Raiders' offense. The Baylor secondary would be wise to keep a close eye on Grant at all times, particularly on third down, when he can be very problematic for defenses in the open field.

Notre Dame at Clemson

Three top players: Notre Dame (OL Ronnie Stanley, LB Jaylon Smith, DL Sheldon Day); Clemson (QB Deshaun Watson, WR Artavis Scott, DE Shaq Lawson).

Matchup to watch: Stanley is one of the elite offensive tackle prospects in the nation, and Lawson should provide a solid challenge that NFL scouts will take close note of in evaluating both players.

Arizona at Stanford

Three top players: Arizona (DB Will Parks, WR Cayleb Jones, RB Nick Wilson); Stanford (QB Kevin Hogan, OL Kyle Murphy, OL Joshua Garnett).

Matchup to watch: Hogan gets to take his shots at an Arizona defense missing star LB Scooby Wright, who is out with a foot sprain. Wright's absence should afford Hogan more time in the pocket, which will in turn put more pressure on Parks and the Wildcats' secondary.

Arizona State at UCLA

Clubs attending: Miami Dolphins, Cleveland Browns.

Three top players: Arizona State (WR D.J. Foster, QB Mike Bercovici, DB Jordan Simone); UCLA (CB Ishmael Adams, RB Paul Perkins, LB Deon Hollins).

Matchup to watch: Bercovici embarrassed UCLA's secondary last season with 488 passing yards and three touchdowns, albeit in a runaway 62-27 win for the Bruins. Despite the win, Adams likely believes he has some unfinished business in this series.
