Packers turn away more than they accept to shovel snow

GREEN BAY, Wis. -- Hundreds of people showed up to shovel snow at Lambeau Field ahead of Sunday's Divisional Playoff Game between the New York Giants and Green Bay Packers. But hundreds more were turned away.

Packers facilities manager Todd Edlebeck told the Green Bay Press-Gazettethat 450 people helped with shoveling, but nearly 800 were told they had to leave.

It takes about four hours to clear snow from the stadium bowl. Fans were paid $10 per hour -- that's $2 more per hour than last year.

Some say it's a great way to make extra money. Others just wanted a chance to work a day inside Lambeau Field.

Edlebeck said the turnout was awesome.
