Nuttiest Moments of Week 5: Fodder for the follies

Perhaps fodder for a football follies DVD that's coming soon, here is an in-depth breakdown of the nuttiest plays of Week 5.

He's not camera shy

The situation: The Vikings, sporting a robust 28-0 lead in the second quarter, are facing a second-and-10 situation from their own 4-yard line.

Things got a bit nutty when ... Donovan McNabb drops back to pass and misses Devin Aromashodu, who then plows through an unsuspecting cameraman on the sidelines. It's fun for fans to watch, but painful to be a part of.

A different kind of hand out

The situation: The Giants, trailing 29-25, are driving down the field in hopes of scoring the winning touchdown.

Things got a bit nutty when ... With 1:25 left in the game and New York facing a first-and-goal from the Seahawks' 10-yard line, Eli Manning drops back to pass, has said pass bounce off the hands of Victor Cruz and into the arms of Seattle defensive back Brandon Browner, who goes 94 yards for the game-clinching touchdown.

Kicking away a win

The situation: Trailing 31-24, Michael Vick is driving the Eagles down the field on the Bills' defense, hoping to lead his team on a game-tying score. Philly faces a third-and-3 from Buffalo's 25-yard line.

Things got a bit nutty when ... Vick's pass bounces off Jason Avant's hands. As Avant falls to the ground, the receiver kicks the ball into the awaiting arms of Bills linebacker Nick Barnett, who picks off the pass to seal the Bills' fourth win in five games.
