Northern Illinois QB Jordan Lynch makes history vs. CMU

Five seniors in the MAC had noteworthy performances Saturday. Here's a look, with the players listed alphabetically.

Kent State RB Dri Archer: Archer (5-foot-8, 175 pounds), who has missed all or part of four games with an injury, was a big-play guy for the Golden Flashes in a loss at South Alabama. He scored on a 74-yard run and a 73-yard pass. He is one of the most explosive players in the nation, but his lack of size limits him to a situational role. Still, his sheer speed and elusiveness mean he almost certainly will be drafted, likely on the third day.

Toledo RB David Fluellen: Fluellen (6-0, 215), a potential third-day pick, ran for 153 yards and a TD on 19 carries in the Rockets' 45-44 double-overtime win over Navy. He missed most of the fourth quarter and both overtime sessions with an injured back. He entered the game fifth in the nation in rushing at 141 yards per game.

Northern Illinois QB Jordan Lynch: Lynch (6-0, 216), who isn't considered a draftable quarterback because of his lack of size and questions about his arm, had a historic outing in a win over Central Michigan. He ran for 316 yards -- a record by a quarterback in a FBS game -- and three touchdowns on 32 carries and also threw for 155 yards and a TD.

Buffalo OLB Khalil Mack: Mack (6-3, 248), considered a first-rounder by most draft analysts, had a sack, a pass breakup and an interception return for a TD in a rout of Massachusetts. He has six sacks and 10 tackles for loss this season.

Ball State QB Keith Wenning: Wenning (6-3, 220) threw for 324 yards and three TDs in a win over Western Michigan. He has thrown for 300 yards in all seven games this season and has 18 TD passes and five picks. He has a strong arm and has moved into the discussion as a possible sixth- or seventh-round pick.
