NHL owners under fire from physicians, concussion study

A Canadian physicians meeting in Calgary on Wednesday condemned NHL owners for being too accepting of hockey violence, The Canadian Press reported.

On the same day, a new study said the NHL's recent rule changes aimed at cutting down on concussions have not made a difference, The CP reported.

And Stack.com criticized Hockey Canada's decision to ban body-checking during Pee Wee level youth hockey games.
