'NFL Total Access' recap: Is Dee Milliner's stock slipping?

Did you miss Monday's edition of "NFL Total Access" on NFL Network? Catch up with this recap:

Breaking down the Revis trade

NFL.com's Jeff Darlington said the New York Jets couldn't come up with the money cornerback Darrelle Revis wanted, so instead they got draft picks from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to help rebuild the team. Meanwhile, the Bucs feel they filled a significant area of need, and Revis feels that with the way the Bucs have invested in talent around him, he knows he'll be there long enough to make money and compete. Everyone feels like they won.

The show aired some Jets fans radio caller reactions with one fan calling them "pretty much an expansion team." Another said they lost the greatest player since quarterback Joe Namath.

Rapoport's draft news

NFL.com's Ian Rapoport said Alabama cornerback Dee Milliner's draft stock has dropped because teams are picking him apart, trying to find flaws. Houston cornerback D.J. Hayden's stock, however, is rising, and teams are overwhelmed with his tape. The Miami Dolphins-Kansas City Chiefs' Branden Albert trade is in a holding pattern, and most likely would happen on the first day of the draft.

One-on-one with Barkley

Amber Theoharis and Scott Pioli chatted with USC quarterback Matt Barkley, who on draft day will allow an NFL camera in his home. Theoharis asked Barkley why instead he's not going to New York for the draft. Barkley said he wanted to keep it low key and personal with his close friends and family. Pioli said Barkley has been asked all the questions possible, and then Pioli went through a few of his own.

One-on-one with Revis

Revis said he's excited to start a new chapter in his career. As far his contract, which doesn't include any guarantees, Revis said it shows he has confidence in himself. He said there is no question he'll be back at his elite level. Revis continues to rehab. He even smiled before saying there is no extra emphasis on the Bucs' season opener against the New York Jets.

One-on-one with Fisher

Central Michigan offensive tackle Eric Fisher said the draft is a big job interview and it's been a long process. He thinks he's done everything he can to be drafted as high as possible, even potentially the top overall pick, which has been his goal since the start of this process.

Analyzing the O-line

Pioli said he could see four to five offensive linemen going in the top 10: offensive tackles like Texas A&M's Luke Joeckel, Central Michigan's Eric Fisher, Oklahoma's Lance Johnson and Alabama guard Chance Warmack almost definitely will go, but he's also hearing North Carolina guard Jonathan Cooper is sneaking into the conversation.

Revis vs. NFC South WRs

Willie McGinest said Revis won't be exposed. Revis looks forward to competition and knows what kind of competition he's getting into when he signed with the Bucs. In the NFC South, Revis will face five of the NFL's 20 receivers who amassed 1,000 yards last season. Revis also will face a key matchup against Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald.

Brooks: Planning to perfection

Bucky Brooks puts on his GM hat, laying out the optimal draft-day strategies -- including contingencies -- for all 32 teams. **More ...**

LaDainian Tomlinson said Revis definitely makes the Buccaneers a contender. They still have a need at tight end and a big need at pass rusher, but those are holes they can fill in the draft or with remaining free agents. To illustrate his point, Tomlinson pointed to the Bucs giving up 27 sacks in 2012, 29th among 32 NFL teams. Nine of those sacks came from Michael Bennett who has since signed with the Seattle Seahawks, meaning the Bucs lost a third of their already low sack total with Bennett's defection.
