'NFL Total Access' recap: Are the Miami Dolphins rising?

Did you miss Wednesday's edition of "NFL Total Access" on NFL Network? Catch up with this recap:

Are the Miami Dolphins on the rise?

NFL.com's Jeff Darlington said the Dolphins have three goals for the 2013 season: 1) Put more pressure on the quarterback; 2) get more interceptions; and 3) make more explosive plays on offense. Signing explosive wide receiver Mike Wallace was a key move for them, Darlington said. Now quarterback Ryan Tannehill has both the support of his teammates and a weapon to help make big plays happen.

Darlington said new head coach Joe Philbin is gaining the support of the locker room, and he predicted the team to be more successful in 2013.

Shaun O'Hara handed out his NFC East draft grades

O'Hara thinks the Eagles did the best job of addressing their needs. By drafting offensive tackle Lane Johnson, O'Hara is confident the Eagles will do a better job protecting quarterback Michael Vick. He also thinks the team got a great value in their fourth-round draft pick, quarterback Matt Barkley.

"The Giants drafted for depth," O'Hara stated. He said the Giants got great value in the third round with defensive end Damontre Moore and in the fourth round with quarterback Ryan Nassib. While O'Hara does not think Nassib will be a factor soon, he does think the Syracuse signal-caller adds depth to the position and eventually could take over for Eli Manning.

Despite having traded their first-round pick to draft Robert Griffin III last year, O'hara thinks the Redskins did a great job addressing needs in their secondary by selecting cornerback David Amerson and safety Bacarri Rambo. He also mentioned that tight end Jordan Reed will be a valuable addition because Fred Davis is coming off an Achilles injury.

Drafting center Travis Frederick in the first round addressed the team's need at that position, but O'Hara thinks the Cowboys reached with the pick. He says they could have drafted a better tight end in the first round, such as Zach Ertz, and still gotten Frederick or another center in the second round. Wide receiver Terrance Williams also was a great pick in the third round.

Andrew Luck only looking forward

Andrew Luck said, despite all the Indianapolis Colts accomplished last year, none of that matters moving into the new season. As for the hiring of Pep Hamilton as the new offensive coordinator, Luck said the team asked him for his opinion beforehand and he endorsed Hamilton 100 percent. Scott Hanson tried to get Luck to rank the three notable rookie quarterbacks expected to make the "Top 100 Players of 2013" list, but Luck found a way to avoid choosing anyone.

LeSean McCoy: Expect fast-paced offense in Philadelphia

LeSean McCoy took some time (literally) to join the program while wearing the patented Chip Kelly visor. The Philadelphia Eagles running back said there is a feeling of excitement in the city with all the changes and hiring of Kelly as head coach. But, despite the new leadership, McCoy said he continues to have a good relationship with former Eagles coach Andy Reid, and the two still talk and text.

McCoy said Kelly's new offense has tons of sets and motions to try and get guys in the open field. He also said the offense will be fast-paced, with flashes of what fans saw at Oregon, but also have some unexpected strategies.

Lastly, McCoy admitted Michael Vick beat him in a 40-yard dash, but McCoy said Vick did it by jumping early. McCoy added he caught Vick at the end but was edged out at the finish line.

Willie McGinest predicts tough year for Eagles

Not everyone is excited about the future in Philadelphia. Willie McGinest predicted the Eagles will improve this year but only reach 7-9 and miss the playoffs. McGinest predicted a five-game losing streak for the team from Week 4 to Week 8 when the Eagles play the Giants twice as well as the Broncos, Buccaneers and Cowboys. McGinest thinks the team also will struggle against the Washington Redskins and Green Bay Packers.
