- Chiefs chairman and CEO Clark Hunt, who holds the same titles for Major League Soccer's FC Dallas, has committed $500,000 to relief and recovery efforts in response to the deadly flooding in Central Texas. “Our family is devastated by the tragedy in Central Texas,” Hunt said in a statement released on the FC Dallas website. “Our hearts go out to those grieving – in particular, to the parents who lost children, those who lost family members, and the far-too-many who have lost friends, neighbors, and loved ones." The donation, which will be directed to disaster response and long-term trauma care, per the site, was made along with Austin FC, Houston Dynamo FC and the MLS. The NFL Foundation, Dallas Cowboys, Houston Texans and Minnesota Vikings have also committed $500,000 each to relief efforts.

- The Minnesota Vikings and the Wilf family have committed $500,000 to support rescue and recovery efforts in Kerr County and Texas Hill Country following the devastating flash floods that impacted central Texas on July 4, the club announced. "We are deeply saddened by the continued devastation and loss of life in the Texas Hill Country and can't imagine the pain so many are experiencing," Mark, Zygi and Leonard Wilf said in a statement Wednesday. "We are praying for peace for the families who have lost a loved one and strength for those who continue to risk their lives leading the rescue and recovery effort." Minnesota's commitment follows $1.5 million of combined donations pledged by the NFL Foundation, Dallas Cowboys and Houston Texans on July 6.
