  • Matt Thomas is being hired as a football administration consultant through the 2026 NFL Draft, NFL Network Insiders Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero reported Thursday. The team later announced the hire. Thomas, who spent 11 seasons as Seahawks vice president of football operations, is a respected salary cap executive and will allow interim GM Rob Brzezinski to focus on the big picture.

  • The Giants interviewed Arizona State OC Marcus Arroyo for their QB coach job, NFL Network Insider Mike Garafolo reported.

  • Ryan Mahaffey is being hired as run game coordinator/tight ends coach, NFL Network Insiders Ian Rapoport, Mike Garafolo and Tom Pelissero reported Thursday, per sources. Mahaffey was the Packers' wide receivers coach for the last two seasons.
