Mike Tomlin defends medical staff over Steelers' concussion issue

Wednesday's health and safety news from the world of football:

  • UT-Sports in San Diego reported on a La Jolla, California, high school football player who suffered concussion. The injury caused many team parents to become more aware of the concussions. In light of the event and its handling, Voice of San Diego called for expanded concussion education for football coaches in California.
